Q1 2024 Music & Podcasts App Performance on iOS in Latin America

Latin America's iOS users have been tuning into various music and podcasts applications throughout the first quarter of 2024. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the trends and figures for these apps.

YouTube Music has shown consistent revenue throughout the quarter, with a peak at nearly $232K in the last week of February. Downloads showed a slight decline from over 100K in the first week of January to approximately 93K at the end of March. Weekly active users displayed a growing trend, rising from 5.48M to 5.64M in the same period.

Deezer: Music Player, Podcast also demonstrated a stable revenue stream, ranging from around $67K to $77K, with the highest revenue reported in the last week of February. Download numbers fluctuated slightly but remained around the 21K mark, while weekly active users saw a dip from 792K to 750K.

TIDAL Music: HiFi Sound experienced modest revenue figures, hovering around the $20K mark with a spike to $23.5K in late February. Downloads varied, with an unexpected surge to over 7K in early February, then settling back to around 3K by the end of March. The app maintained a steady user base with weekly active users fluctuating around the 87K range.

TikTok Music saw revenues ranging from approximately $10.5K to $19.7K, peaking in early February. Its downloads and weekly active users displayed a downward trend, with downloads dropping from around 3.6K to 2.4K and active users decreasing from 55K to 55.2K.

TuneIn Radio: Music & Sports reported revenues that generally remained around the $11K to $13.6K range, with the highest revenue at the end of February. Downloads saw a gradual decrease from 3.8K to 2.2K, while weekly active users showed a slight decline from 25K to 22K.
